I just completed this piece for a yoga instructor in Seattle, who commissioned it as a surprise for her husband. I spent a good amount of time re-immersing myself in Heinrich Zimmer and Joseph Campbell's seminal text on the imagery of Hindu mythology; it's a subject one could happily swim about in forever. The painting is 4'x5', fairly large; I really hope the husband likes it. I have no room for it at home.

Shiva and Shakti: The Commission
I just completed this piece for a yoga instructor in Seattle, who commissioned it as a surprise for her husband.
